Ken Schreck is the CEO of BluCactus, a strategy-led digital marketing agency known for combining creative direction, commercial thinking, presentation design, and fashion marketing into work that is built to persuade, position, and perform. Since founding BluCactus in 2014, Ken has led the agency with a clear belief: strong brands are not built through decoration, noise, or generic marketing. They are built through sharp positioning, disciplined communication, visual authority, and strategies that help businesses compete with confidence.
Ken’s work in Presentation Design focuses on turning slides into serious business assets. He understands that a presentation is often far more than a document. It can be the tool that helps a founder secure investment, a sales team win a major client, an executive influence a board, a company explain its value, or a brand build trust in a high-stakes room. Under his leadership, BluCactus develops investor pitch decks, sales decks, corporate presentations, board presentations, proposal decks, training decks, keynote presentations, and branded PowerPoint systems that combine structure, storytelling, design, and commercial logic.
His approach to presentation design is direct, strategic, and commercially grounded. A deck must look polished, but it also needs to think clearly. It must guide the audience, simplify complexity, create momentum, and make the decision feel easier. Ken pushes presentation work beyond “nice slides” by focusing on narrative flow, offer clarity, audience psychology, visual hierarchy, data communication, brand consistency, and the business goal behind every slide. For him, a strong presentation is not just designed. It is engineered to support a decision.
Ken is also deeply involved in Fashion Marketing, one of BluCactus’s strongest areas of specialisation. He works with fashion, apparel, lifestyle, beauty, and luxury-oriented brands that need more than attractive content. They need a market position, a recognisable identity, a persuasive story, and a growth system that connects brand image with sales performance. His fashion marketing perspective combines brand storytelling, SEO, paid media, social media strategy, e-commerce positioning, content planning, visual identity, and conversion-focused communication.
What makes Ken’s perspective valuable is his ability to connect creative ambition with business discipline. In fashion, he understands that image matters, but image alone is not enough. A brand must know who it is speaking to, why it deserves attention, how it creates desire, and how its marketing moves people from discovery to trust to purchase. This is especially important for New Zealand brands, where companies often need to look highly professional, communicate clearly, and compete confidently both at home and in export-focused international markets. Ken guides strategies that help fashion brands build stronger visibility, communicate with authority, and present themselves with the level of quality their customers, buyers, investors, and partners expect.
As a leader, Ken is known for being practical, direct, and focused on results. He does not approach marketing as a collection of isolated tasks. He looks at the full system: the offer, the audience, the message, the visual identity, the website, the content, the campaign, the presentation, and the sales conversation. This allows him to identify where a brand is losing clarity, where a presentation is losing persuasion, and where a marketing strategy is failing to convert attention into business opportunities.
At BluCactus, Ken leads a multidisciplinary team that brings together designers, strategists, copywriters, SEO specialists, paid media experts, developers, and project managers. His leadership style is built around high standards, clear thinking, and strong execution. He expects creative work to be beautiful, but also useful. He expects strategy to be ambitious, but also realistic. He expects every deliverable, whether it is a pitch deck, fashion campaign, landing page, or brand presentation, to help the client look stronger, communicate better, and move closer to a measurable business goal.
Ken’s authority comes from years of building, selling, presenting, refining, and leading creative and marketing work in competitive industries. He understands the pressure behind a pitch, the importance of a brand’s first impression, and the difference between content that simply exists and communication that changes perception. His work sits at the intersection of strategy, design, persuasion, and growth.
Through BluCactus, Ken continues to help companies strengthen their brand image, sharpen their message, and communicate with the confidence of a business that knows its value. His focus remains clear: create marketing and presentation systems that make brands look more credible, sound more persuasive, and compete at a higher level.
